Non-Profits: Ada S. McKinley

Collaborating with Rick Roberts of Horizons Communications Group, I have directed, shot, and edited a variety of videos for the Chicago-based non-profit. From TV spots, to PSAs, to web content, the videos cover a wide variety of the phenomenal work Ada S. McKinley is doing for people who need it most. The videos have aired in the Chicago TV media market, and have helped tell the powerful story of a local non-profit helping the community. Founded in 1919 by schoolteacher and social reformer Ada Sophia McKinley, the organization had the mission of helping veterans returning from World War I and African Americans migrating from the South. Now it is operating in more than 70 locations, serving more than 7,000 people.
