Background

Dan Kolen is a writer and video producer. Each story is approached with ambition and an eye for detail, making projects work no matter the constraints.

For more than a decade, Kolen has worked in film, TV, and advertising as a Producer. From PBS documentary programming on aging and retirement, to CNBC documentaries on financial crime, to political advertising for candidates nationwide, to work premiering on Showtime, Kolen has worked on large-scale, big budget productions with national and international distribution.

In 2012, Kolen applied this production experience to businesses and non-profits. They needed a high quality look, and they needed it on budget, and he started DKMedia. Creating material for a wide array of clients, DKMedia has creating lasting relationships and produced work that’s screened and streamed across a wide array of platforms and published in a variety of publications.
